NHS speech has the words * TO SAVE MONEY* in it, and every speech the conservatives make they have the words *TO SAVE MONEY* in it.
They know the price of everything and the value of nothing.
To live in a world where money is the most important thing in your life is sad....
A woman on deal or no deal said "you have your family which is more than most people have, and so what is money?"
the condems could do with a lesson from her on what is valuable in life...
And how much is this Libya war costing which will go up and up the longer it goe's on, but we are facing cuts?

Your premise is false, and you stole my line, Buster. "The price of everything and the value of nothing." Perhaps you can come up with something worth plagiarizing. I doubt it.

Because in case you hadn't noticed right now, we don't have any bloody money! I'm sure we'd all rather not worry about money, but if we ignore the problem it is only going to get worse. We have no choice but to consider the cost of everything, because if we don't pretty soon it'd all be worthless anyway.

OK, next time there is a genocidal maniac in power somewhere in the world, threatening not only British interests but his own people, we'll just ignore it and let millions of innocent civilians be slaughtered. Sound like a good idea? You just said money isn't everything, and then whinge about the money being spent to protect innocent human lives. Hypocritical much?

There are certain rules in this world. I, for one, never trust anyone who uses the word "entrepreneur" with a fawning drool in their voice or who describes themselves as a "taxpayer" before launching into a diatribe about how such and such a group needs to be given a kicking. It is no way to live your life and such people are not fit to be running a civilised country. I have particularly noted the way no media organisation has picked them up about their claims that the private sector (fawn, drool) will "pick up the slack" of all the public sector (boo, hiss) workers put on the dole. The assumption is that it doesn't matter what job you do so long as you have one. Therefore, retraining nurses, teachers and policemen to work in call centres and supermarkets has no adverse effect on society. As you say, they know the value of nothing.

We are having much the same problem here in America. Every year our politicians spend more money than they have and must borrow to make up the difference. We call this the "National Debt." Our current National Debt is over $14 trillion. Conservative politicians have a common sense approach to solve this problem. Since overspending is putting us in debt we must cut our spending. The liberals claim the only possible solution to our increasing debt is to........... wait for it.......... here it comes.......... SPEND EVEN MORE. Yes, borrowing more, spending more, and going deeper in debt will lower our debt.

The amazing thing is the number of our citizens who say they believe this and support the liberals in their effort to spend more. The liberals KNOW this won't solve the problem, but they are not trying to solve the problem. They are trying to buy votes. People KNOW this won't solve the problem, but want some of that FREE government money and will sell their votes to get it.

That lady is right. Family is more important than money. Until you don't have the money to feed, house, and clothe your family. Money becomes awfully important when you are living naked in the streets and starving.

If Brown and Blaire had worried about the money a little bit more the country wouldn't be bankrupt and the cuts would be unnecessary . Don't try and blame today's government for the mistakes of the last government .

A woman on deal or no deal said "you have your family which is more than most people have, and so what is money?"

If she believed that then what was she doing on deal or no deal if she wasn't trying to win money!!!

One government is basically no better than the next government...at least the Condems are trying to sort the mess out that was left to them by the previous tossers...who have actually admitted that they too would have had to implement severe cuts to sort out their 13 yrs of **** ups...

That's Labour that is. You are mistaken. It is the only line they had for over a decade - we spent ... we spent ... we spent. Now we are operating on printed money like the Bank of Zimbabwe.
