Yes. Steve Jobs did dies on October 5th, 2011. I thought it was a joke too D:
He had Pancreatic Cancer and got a liver transplant, but I think his health was deteriorating a lot, but he loved his job a lot, and he didn't want to part from it, until his resignation as CEO on August 24th, 2011.
Steve Jobs. rip <3

It's actually a very rare form of cancer- called islet cell pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor (NET). I know this because my Mother was diagnosed with it in 2007. It is a slow growing carcinoid tumor of the neuroendocrine system. If you remember Dave Thomas from Wendy's restaurants- he basically had the same thing. It actually starts on the pancreas and spreads to the liver so people are misdiagnosed with malignant cancer and suddenly think they have only months to live. Each year we've had since 2007 has been just a blessing!

It's uncertain. His precise illness has never been made very clear. He certainly had some form of pancreatic cancer several years ago. Pancreatic is normally a very deadly form of cancer; most patients die very quickly. Possibly, his form was less virulent than others and treatment sent him into remission for some years.
However, he had a liver transplant a couple of years ago. Whether that was related to the pancreatic cancer or something else is uncertain.
I suspect we'll learn more in the days to come.

Steve Jobs had a rare form of benign panceratic cancer and it was cured with sugery. Therefore he could not have died from that ... but I was just curious if anyone knows what he really died from. If he got another form of cancer or what?????
