I prefer "Magkaisa" even if I also really really like the other.

Magkaisa is a battle cry. It goads everyone to unite to a purpose. It is active. And can be forever relevant. It is a cry that can be sung at anytime when there is need for us to rekindle the sparks of the EDSA revolution, and unite again for our common good.

On the other hand, "Handog" is an after-the-fact song. It is a beautiful testament to what had happened. Unfortunately, it has a clear and distinct life span. It is not a song that we can sing again to inspire us to mass on EDSA when a similar situation occurs.

"Magkaisa." The song is much more emotional, just like how most Filipinos felt during EDSA Revolution, especially when we felt victorious over the Marcos Empire.

handog ng pilipino sa mundo is the preferred song. It shows the courage in us the active way. never again shall we allow another leader to enforce dictatorship in this country.

Magkaisa is a remote possibility in this land...admit it! while the other one is this nation's legacy to this planet.

Both songs touches me alot everytime i heard it. It really brought me back to the most memorable days of my life and it was EDSA 1 1986. i was 16yo then, right after high school graduation, from the province we travel right away to manila and almost witness the downfull of Marcos dectatorship.

i prefer magkaisa because it talks about unity. and unity is a virtue of what the people in a country like ours should have. no matter who takes the lead in this coming elections the people should support him because i believe it is the majority who have spoken.

I think, "Magkaisa" is better than "Handog ng Pilipino sa Mundo" because the EDSA People Power revolution made Filipino people prove that they have unity.
